Gage is the main character of Susan May Warren's "A
Matter of Trust," as he is another member of the PEAK Rescue Team whom we
have met in the previous Montana Rescue novels, but really have not known much
about. This all changes as the reader learns about Gage's past as a snowboarder
and what has lead him to this stage in his life to be a part of this team. Gage finds himself facing his past and
regrets he has been struggling with when Ella reenters his life. Ella has followed her brother out to Montana
to try and stop him from throwing his life away and from possibly doing a
life-threatening, dangerous run down a mountain. However, Ella is the one who cost Gage his
career and she and Gage both have been struggling with this ever since.
Susan always does an amazing job with engaging the reader;
the storylines are well-paced and the characters are so easy to relate to and
enjoyable to spend time with. I have
enjoyed this series so much and getting to know each of the team members, but
also still "keeping in touch" with the ones whom have been the focus
of the previous novels as well! I highly
recommend this book and series. It is a
great mixture of adventure, suspense, romance and drama!
