I have loved Lynette Eason's Blue Justice series and the time spent with and getting to know the St. John family. Linc St. John is the main character in this book, but the rest of his family still play important roles. Linc has fallen for Allison and she feels the same; however they still have their jobs to do and Allison has another thing forefront on her mind - to take down the one responsible for killing her family. Allison finds herself as a target and is convinced by her supervisor that she needs to stay low, meaning no one can know that she's alive. However, this is difficult as she is trying to protect a girl that she has formed a bond with. This is also difficult when her heart has fallen for Linc. As Linc and Allison struggle to stay a step ahead of those after them and to protect Daria, they discover so many twists and unsettling things.
This book is so fast-paced right from the start as I found myself getting completely caught up in the story and not wanting to stop reading until I found out what would happen next. I have really loved this series and am sad to see it end, but it has a satisfying end and I am so excited to read what Lynette has written next after reading the included sneak peak!
