"A Glitter of Gold"

Cover Art"A Glitter of Gold" is the second book in Liz Johnson's Georgia Coast Romance and it is another excellent read from her! Anne is starting over and this is not easy as she can barely afford her rent, and she is still struggling with the guilt from choices in her past and she constantly has her guard up.  Carter is struggling to keep the maritime museum afloat and he is determined to do things on his own, not because of his family name.  When Anne makes a discovery of evidence that a ship actually existed and went down, she and Carter team up as this may be an answer to both of their problems.

I loved the suspense and history that was all rolled into this story.  The journal that Carter has had is fascinating to read and I love how that story is interwoven throughout the book.  Also, the fact that Carter has not shared this with just anyone and that he is determined to do things on his own say a lot about his character and I immediately liked him.  Anne is dealing with so much guilt and I admire her strength to push past and start fresh.  This is such a great book, I love the mysteriousness of the ship and pirates.
