I was excited to see that Nina George had a new novel out as I read her novel, "The Little Paris Bookshop" and loved it!
This is a story of new beginnings after years of living feeling lost and not being able to take anymore and the hope and freeing feelings as well as finding oneself and starting over. Marianne is done with living life as she has been living and she has made a decision (fortunately the course changes!), and she is going to have a new, different life. I loved the characters and the interactions among the characters, especially as the "locals" are met and introduced in the book. This is a read that will introduce the reader to another place and the local characters, the tastes and smells and have you feeling connected with this community.
