"dreaming with God"

So often we all hear that our hard work will pay off, if we want something just keep working for it...but this can get hold and leave us feeling defeated and overwhelmed.  Sarah Beth Marr addresses this in her new book, "Dreaming with God: a bold call to step out and follow God's lead."  Sarah takes this to the next step which is to still pursue our dreams, but to rely on God and follow His lead, not work toward our dreams on our own personal set schedule.  Each chapter focuses on a specific aspect, a specific piece of following our dreams under the guidance of God, under His leadership.  My two favorite chapters are surrendering to God's leading and having intention, focus and purpose. 

Each chapter ends with reflection questions and ample space to answer these.  Also throughout the pages there are quotes that are "highlighted" on the side; I love these as they are things I personally find myself needing to remember. 

This is an excellent book for every woman to read as life is busy, life is stressful, life is overwhelming and it can feel like we are just spinning our wheeling toward making changes and reaching goals and chasing dreams instead of remembering to rely on God and follow His lead and His timing.  This is a great read and one that I immensely enjoyed reading and also answering the questions and reflecting on my own heart and life.
