New from Karen Witemeyer!

Karen Witemeyer is one of my favorite historical fiction authors and her newest book is one of my favorites by her for sure!  "At Love's Command" introduces the reader to a group of men known as the Hanger's Horsemen.  Everyone around knows these men and the heroic things they have done to bring justice and protect the innocent.  Josie is used to others being wary of her being a doctor; however she proves them wrong with her medical skills.  When one of the Hanger's Horseman comes under her care, Josie is not prepared for the feelings that stir within her when she meets Matthew and sees his heart and loyalty to his men.  Josie is also not expecting to have to rely on them and ask for their help; although really she shouldn't be surprised given her brother's history.  Matthew isn't expecting the feelings he is experiencing either and the thought that Josie is in danger as well.  

I absolutely loved this book!  The characters were all great, I loved their spunk, strength and their interactions.  I love that this was a start of a series, so the other Horseman will get their stories told as well and we will get to read more about the characters.  Be prepared to be transported back in time for a sweet and yet dangerous adventure!
