Learn more about Emily at: http://www.emilywierenga.com My Review: "A Promise in Pieces" is a sweet story that I loved and enjoyed every page of!  Clara is determined to fulfill the wish of a dying soldier and yet she is unprepared for what she encounters.  Clara is given a baby quilt which she faithfully uses and with this quilt there is sorrow and loss, yet there is also hope and love. I love the symbolism tied to the baby quilt and the feeling of hope that is woven throughout this story.
