"Stitches in Time"

Cover Art

This latest novel from Suzanne Woods Fisher may very well be my favorite book of hers!  "Stitches in Time" is the second book in her latest series, The Deacon's Family, and it is such a sweet story that also had me laughing out loud at times.  Mollie has moved to Stoney Ridge for not only a fresh start, but to shake things up, face life head on, live out of her comfort zone.  When the idea of taking in foster children is brought up, and others slink away, Mollie volunteers because after all she is here to take on life and have a change and this will for sure give her that.  However, she discovers that it is not exactly what she thought it would be, definitely not as smooth sailing and sweet like she thought.  Sam is not prepared for the whirlwind that suddenly he finds himself a part of when he gets involved in Mollie's life and the lives of the two foster girls she is the guardian to.  Sam lives his life as a horse trainer and he is good with that or so he thought, until he finds his heart changing.  I loved the storyline, admired the main characters and wanted to just keep reading once I started.  I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to the next in the series!
