I was transported to Prince Edward Island and Rose's Red Door Inn as soon as I started reading. I could smell and taste Caden's cinnamon rolls and could hear the music flowing out of the speakers tucked into the corner of the kitchen while Caden prepares breakfast for the morning guests. Truly, this place became alive in the pages!
Caden is introduced in book #1 as are the inn's owners of course. However, there are new characters and this story really focuses on Caden and Adam, a journalist on sabbatical and trying to uncover a big story.
This is such a sweet story that will keep you turning the pages and leave you wanting more time at this wonderful place and with these characters! I am already looking forward to book #3 coming out next summer!
