"What Matters Most"

"What Matters Most" is Kellie Coates Gilbert's latest Texas Gold novel and it is another heart-filled read that will stay with the reader long after you finish reading it.  Leta is struggling to find a job as she does not have her degree yet, as she had to withdraw from school with only 3 years completed.  When a job does open up, Leta is thrilled; however things become complicated as things are not adding up.  To make matters worse, Leta has fallen for Nathan; however, Leta's information can make things bad for him and his career.

I love Kellie's books as they are so real with such realistic characters.  Life is not easy; although we all have the smooth sailing days, there are the bumpy ones as well.  Kellie's characters are faced with challenges and dilemmas, including moral ones that must be handled and with a little suspense sprinkled in, the reader is hooked.  Leta must decide what is important to her and what really matters in life, and this book will leave you asking this of yourself as well.
