My Review:
First of all, this is a gorgeous hardcover book that will look beautiful sitting on a coffee table, as it is so inviting looking! Then once you open it, you see that the pages are filled with so many more soothing, beautiful pictures among the text. This is so much more though than a book just filled with pictures to inspire your décor, this is filled with personal feedback and tips for making a house a home and encouragement and ideas to help the reader do the same. Kennesha shares her story, her story of healing and really feeling alive in her home and making it a solace, a place that really gives her life and connection while within as well as others who come to the house. I really enjoyed reading about her home and the journey she took to get to where she is at now, the stage that her home is at and the steps to get there. I love how this touches on everything about a home and while it is broad at times, there are other parts that are very specific. This is an excellent book to look through and read and find ideas and inspiration from.
