"Playing for More"

"Playing for More: trust beyond what you can see" written by Case Keenum with Andrew Perloff is the story of Case and his journey through life and his unique path in the NFL.  I love how Case shares about his childhood, and even before with providing background on his father's life growing up and how his life was impacted as this impacted how Case was raised and his experiences as a child.  Case shares about playing high school football in Texas and how this will also be a special time to him.  Not everything has been good or easy as he has experiences injuries, being undrafted, not be recruited by multiples schools/teams.  However, through this all Case trusted, his hope remained high and Christ remained a center and priority in his life.  This book should be a must-read for athletes, as it is an inspiring story but also an excellent message for staying grounded, working hard, having faith in God and trusting even in the dark, hard struggles.
