My Review:
I really enjoyed the novella collection, "Where Treetops Glisten!" This is a beautiful Christmas collection by three fabulous authors that each share a story involving the Turner family, a kind-hearted, fun family that is trying to survive World War II and yet also keep the magic and love of the Christmas season alive. I love how each of the three novellas focus on a different member of the Turner family and the stories span a three year time span. This time period is brought to life and I love how various aspects of life during the war are highlighted. In the very first story I really enjoyed the small town feel with the candy and soda shop which Abigail works at and the yummy descriptions of making the drinks and treats like candy canes. This is the perfect book for each historical fiction fan as it will transport you to a different time period and ignite the Christmas spirit in each reader.
