My Review:

I have read Beth Wiseman's Amish novels and was very intrigued to read "The Promise" by her as it is a different genre for her.  Once I picked up this book and began to read, I was hooked on the story and decided that Beth can write any kind of fiction, as she has a style of writing that is so easy to get into and follow and she has the ability to draw the reader into the story so completely that it feels as if you truly are a part of it.  Mallory is a character whom I immediately liked; she is on a journey and has the end in sight, but it is not without trials and you will be hoping that she and Tate find their ways.  This is a gripping and emotional story that is filled with danger and love; this is one not to miss out on!
