My Review:
"The Vacant House" is such a fun read and I am so happy that it is the start of a series as I want to read more books about Sophie and the townsfolk. Sophie finds herself caught in the midst of her neighbor's cat's death and that is just the beginning when rumors about her start swirling around and people don't know what and who to believe as more things happen and Sophie is connected to them. It doesn't help when Sophie has a history with the police officer who is assigned to her case and she is not sure just how much she can trust him.
I found this book to be entertaining, fast-paced and filled with characters who I want to spend more time with as there would never be a dull moment. Trusting God and having forgiveness is woven into this story as well and there is a nice balance of suspense and romance as well. I highly recommend this book for those who enjoy romantic suspense and am eager for the next book in the series!
