"Fried & True"

I was intrigued by this cookbook when I saw it as the cover caught my eye.  "Fried & True: more than 50 recipes for America's best fried chicken and sides" sounds promising for some delicious food and the cover is straightforward and appealing as it is has a checkered print that takes you to summer backyard picnics. 
This book begins with several tips for frying chicken in your own home and for having a successful batch of chicken to eat and serve.  Then it moves into my favorite part of the book - the pictures of places that the author found delicious chicken at and is sharing with the readers!  The pictures of the establishments (of all types!), and the stories of these places are so inviting and make me want to visit them.  And then the recipes that are shared make me want to go try these at the restaurants and also try them out in my own home as well!  If you love fried chicken and sides that are typically served with it, then this book is a must-read and a must-have for you!
