Charlene Ann Baumbich has written another Snowglobe Connections novel, "Divine Appointments." Don't worry if you have not read the first one, the characters and setting are different; however the main theme of getting a second chance is the connecting factor for the two novels.
Josie leads a well-ordered, seemingly perfect life with nothing out of place. However, she begins to wonder about her life as she is still single at the age of 47, and questions is my life really what I want it to be? Josie has a great job as a consultant and does not really think of others' feelings while completing her job. With the harsh economy and peoples' jobs being cut, Josie begins to think how she impacts others' lives. A mysterious snowglobe appears and the beautiful scene beckons to Josie and her life begins to change.
I really enjoyed the minor characters in the story. They added humor and the characters were likable and helped Josie's character to be well-developed. Great reminder that it is not too late to make changes in your own life and have a second chance!
